  27. Six dark grey keys (the four arrow keys, PageUp and PageDown) still cannot 
  28. be redefined in PD4, but the other seven in the above Keywords list can. The 
  29. article suggests some principles and patterns to guide their intensive use, 
  30. and mentions a few traps to avoid.  The directory Cuckoo on the November 
  31. 1992 PipeLine4 disc demonstrates some problems with the use of certain keys 
  32. during formula editing.

  34. Fingers are not easy to retrain, but I have found the effort worth while, to 
  35. make the best use of a programme as versatile as PipeDream.  Try these key 
  36. definitions on some serious editing of text and tables, but always save your 
  37. file before using a key you are not sure about.  I hope you will like them 
  38. as much as I do:  after a few days' use, I no longer had much need of the 
  39. memory aid, because the pattern of key combinations makes sense.  But I'm 
  40. still saving files more often -- did somebody say that's a good idea anyway?

  42. I intend to develop these ideas further, to make most PD4 commands easier to
